Sometimes the best rides are the ones that blend Arizona history with a seriously good breakfast stop.

We’re headed to Chilleen's on 17 in historic Black Canyon City, a community with roots dating back to Arizona’s mining and stagecoach days. Nestled along the old route north from Phoenix, this area once served as a key stop for travelers making their way through rugged desert country.

Today, it’s home to one of Arizona’s favorite roadside destinations. Chilleen’s has built its reputation on hearty food, southwestern flavor, and the kind of laid-back atmosphere that feels tailor-made for riders.

The ride north serves up cool early-morning air, beautiful desert scenery, and just enough elevation change to make every mile enjoyable.

• KSU: 8:00 AM sharp
